UK funding for R&D on sustainable plastic packaging

UK-based companies can apply for a share of GBP 7M funding from Innovate UK to fund ambitious projects addressing the targets of the UK Plastic Pact. Targets include, for instance, the minimization and reduction of consumer plastic packaging, the generation and use of food grade recycled polypropylene and polyethylene, and the availability of packaging suitable for reuse, refill and e-commerce.
