FINAT Sustainability Awards

The competition (previously called FINAT Recycling & Sustainability Award) was introduced in 2014 to recognize efforts of the industry in paper and film release liner recycling. In 2021 the competition was renamed into FINAT Sustainability Awards and will concentrate on sustainable practice in the broadest sense. All entries are judged by an independent panel of industry representatives.

Entries can describe physical products/solutions (e.g. labels, inks, adhesives…), equipment and processes including machinery, as well as services. They should relate to any type of labels and decorations: selfadhesive labels, sleeves, wrap-around, IML, wet-glue, etc. Entries can include commercial products/solutions, processes and services (already available on the market), as well as pre-commercial innovations. Commercial products should have been launched in the last 5 years. Sufficient supporting information to justify potential benefits should be provided for pre-commercial entries to qualify them for entry.

The competition is open to all FINAT members including converters, suppliers and affiliated members. Collaborations with multiple partners are eligible (and encouraged!) when at least one FINAT member is involved.
