Xeikon demonstrate their Digital print on MDV’s luxury paper at DRUPA

Xeikon , the leading manufacturer of high-end digital printing systems, will launch their latest solution for individualized packaging at Drupa 2012.

In addition to the newly developed flagship printer series, the Xeikon 8000, several demos entitled “Folding Carton Suite” will be unveiled.
In a Live-Show, they will be presenting a web-finishing module on their Xeikon 3500 printer, on which they will individually print a luxury box covering paper. This will be performed on the high-value leatherette paper available from MDV. The attractive embossed papers with the design “Skyto” available in red or blue, are perfectly suited for covering boxes made to pack cosmetic products and other luxury items.

A range of colours and designs in the MDV luxury papers collection, have been certified for use with Xeikon Printing equipment and for further laminating and converting into boxes.
