Xeikon Café 2021
Xeikon Café 2021 (www.xeikoncafe.com) is an entirely new concept. In its 11th year, this global and popular industry event has been completely overhauled, both digitally and on the ground, thus turning Xeikon Café into the largest industry event highlighting all aspects of digital print production. Digital printers can choose from a wide range of content including demos, workshops and round table discussions – both offline and online. They also have the ability to interact and share information. The focus is on the transferring of knowledge, exchanging of experiences and networking with Xeikon and its Aura partners. In addition to a newly implemented logo design, Xeikon Café 2021 has different venue formats gathered under the umbrella Packaging Innovations: Xeikon Café TV; Xeikon Café on Tour; and Xeikon Café Talks which include industry experts.
Xeikon Café TV 2021 continues with the following sessions:
- The first version is dedicated to the French region and will take place on Wednesday 24th of March at 2 PM CET time. It will include a demonstration of Xeikon’s SX30000 digital colour press for high end applications as well as a presentation on Hunkeler from Bruno Vitalli of GIC.
- The second version (also taking place on Thursday 25th at 10 AM EDT time / 2 PM GMT time / 3 PM CET time) is dedicated to the North American region. This session includes trends in the industry presented by Matt Baehr of Book Manufacturers Institute, and open discussions about on-demand book publishing and finishing from Nick Graham of R&R Bindery Services (a Xeikon customer) and Andy Fetherman of Müller Martini.
These 2 versions of Xeikon Café TV are designed to be of high interest to all printers and book publishers working in the graphic arts and commercial print sectors. Xeikon Café TV will bring to life Xeikon’s comprehensive digital printing solutions portfolio with a focus on high-quality book printing and on the current rise in online book sales. During the broadcast, Xeikon will demonstrate and discuss the power of its unique dry toner technology which is suited to these applications. The virtual event is designed to enable printers, publishers and brand owners to explore the business benefits of digital printing.
Dimitri Van Gaever, Market Segment Director for Graphic Arts states, “Our Xeikon Café TV sessions are live, interactive and accessible on any device. Printers and publishers will hear the latest observations on current trends such as how independent bookshops are overcoming the Amazon challenge. We will share a demonstration of the Xeikon SX30000 high-end digital colour press and our most recent addition to the portfolio, the Xeikon SX20000, both built for the graphic arts segment and based on SIRIUS dry toner technology. We look forward to meeting and interacting with the book printing/publishing community all over the world.”
