World premiere of a new machine platform for label printing at the Gallus Innovation Days 2016
The second Gallus Innovation Days event will be held from 20 to 22 September this year, again at the Gallus headquarters in St.Gallen, Switzerland, and visitors will once again be treated to a world premiere. Gallus will be presenting the first pre-series model of a new machine generation – a label printing machine that is designed for the label and packaging market. This machine boasts an innovative new platform construction and can be configured by customers to meet their own market requirements, whether in terms of the level of automation or the web width. Gallus will launch the first series machines with a width of 440 mm. The modular platform principle makes it possible to configure everything from basic models to fully equipped versions with varying degrees of automation according to requirements and business model – all of this, naturally, in the quality you would expect from Gallus.
With its maximum speed of 200 m/min and extremely short setup times, these printing presses are the fastest narrow-web machines that Gallus has ever built. The Gallus engineers paid particular attention to achieving the highest possible level of productivity, using many features such as precise register accuracy regardless of speed, extremely straightforward operation even at low levels of automation, very short web path from printing unit to printing unit, and exceptionally easy changeovers. The sales launch for this new Gallus machine platform will be at the Gallus Innovation Days 2016. The first deliveries are scheduled for the second quarter of 2017.
