WIFAG Maschinenfabrik AG renamed WIFAG-Polytype Technologies AG
WIFAG Maschinen-fabrik AG is known for decades as an innovative and customer-oriented manufacturer and service partner for newspaper and book printing presses.
As a company of the wifag//polytype Group (Fribourg, Switzerland), we can offer a unique range of products and services. Besides top-quality mechanical engineering, that range now also includes solutions for automation, software and digital printing. For several months now, we have been expanding and optimally coordinating our range for the benefit of our customers.
We want a company name that also expresses our integration in the corporate group, our intensive development activities and the breadth of technologies we make available for machines, processes and materials. And we want that name immediately.
From June 1st, 2014, our name will be WIFAG-Polytype Technologies AG.
Our collaboration with you, our customers and partners, will not be affected by this name change. All contractual relationships and business terms and conditions remain unchanged, as do our mailing address, contact details, bank accounts and contact partners.
We kindly ask you to edit your master data to include the new company name and to notify your employees of the name change.
Jörgen Karlsson will continue to manage business activities from Fribourg, Switzerland as Chief Executive Officer. We will also hold onto our subsidiaries and facilities around the globe.
Newspaper and book production systems will continue to be an integral part of the wifag//polytype portfolio in the future as well. Our additional areas of expertise, for instance in digital printing, can give the publishing markets in particular an ideal technological base for new business models. WIFAG is being retained as the brand name for our newspaper and book printing systems.
