VPF presents an extensive new range of overlaminating films

VPF, manufacturer of pressure sensitive adhesive-materials, introduces a new overlaminates program consisting of 13 laminating films, which are available at short notice and at low cost from small minimum quantities. In addition to PET laminate films for protecting high-quality labels from UV, chemical, and weather influences, exclusive films with special haptics and optics such as Softtouch, Sandy, or Leather are also in focus.

The extensive range includes a total of 13 transparent films based on PP or PET in thicknesses ranging from 12µm to 40µm. These films cover almost all conceivable applications where laminating films are used to protect sensitive or particularly valuable prints and surfaces. The films are available both with and without topcoat for subsequent printing.

VPF placed particular emphasis on different degrees of mattness and very special haptics in the product selection. The market-established PP-Softtouch film 21µm (VPF 60753) or the new and exclusive sanded PP film “Sandy” (VPF 60888) are setting new trends here.

For extreme applications, VPF recommends protecting labels with PET films. Particularly interesting: the thin standard films in 12µm and 23µm thickness are rPET films (90% PCR). Another highlight of the laminating films program is a 19µm UV protection laminate film that reliably and permanently protects prints from fading (VPF 70737).

All laminating films are equipped with the highly transparent emulsion acrylic adhesives 958 or 980 and a thin PET liner 23µm, easy release.

They are available at short notice from a minimum quantity of 500m². The UV protection laminate 70737 is also available on request with the strongly adhesive UV acrylic HM740UV, 25g, and white glassine B700.

All films can, of course, be combined with other adhesives and liners according to customer requirements, following the VPF modular principle.
