UPM Raflatac Takes the Label to the Limit at Labelexpo Americas 2012 with Innovative Products and Services

UPM Raflatac is taking the label to the limit at Labelexpo Americas 2012! With the debut of new products and services the company is pushing the boundaries of where and how self-adhesive label materials can be used, while optimizing value, performance and efficiency for customers.

Solve and evolve with new products and services       

UPM Raflatac is committed to helping customers solve and evolve to meet the needs of the ever-changing labeling and packaging business. The company’s new offerings include thin film labelstocks that reduce waste and increase efficiency; print-on-demand paper and film products that dry instantly on presses after inks are applied; paper-faced shelf markers and talkers; a comprehensive range of VIP films; and new Specials labeling solutions for pharmaceutical, security, durables and tire applications. Additionally, the company has introduced the Small Roll Service which enables labelstock converters to order small rolls of durables and security labelstocks to expand their business capabilities, as well as a new Menu Service that allows customers to create custom roll-to-roll labelstocks by assembling standard facestocks, adhesives and liners in more than 1,500 different combinations.

New capabilities for an extra edge with the Label Solutions Center             

Earlier this year, UPM Raflatac opened a new Label Solutions Center in Fletcher, North Carolina, USA, which provides customers with the cutting-edge technology and expertise required to develop a wide range of specially designed products. The Label Solutions Center enables UPM Raflatac to further deliver on its promise of serving as a full product line supplier to customers and provide high quality Prime, VIP and Specials labelstocks for a variety of end-uses.

Celebrating new service in Latin America

UPM Raflatac has expanded its production platform with the addition of two new slitting and distribution terminals in Mexico City, Mexico, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. These facilities complement UPM Raflatac’s labelstock factory in Rio de Janeiro and slitting and distribution terminal in Jaguariúna, Brazil, and allow the company to service customers throughout Latin America.
