UPM label papers on show at Labelexpo Asia
PM presents its comprehensive range of label face and base papers in Shanghai at the Labelexpo Asia exhibition. UPM offers a variety of options for pressure sensitive and conventional labelling. The paper range includes glassine liners as well as supercalandered and clay coated kraft liners for label base. One side coated, woodfree coated and uncoated papers complete the range for label face.
Excellent quality consistency, optimal surface properties, runnability and convertibility of the UPM papers give the highest performance throughout the converting process.

UPM Forest Life presented at the exhibition
During Labelexpo Asia UPM is highlighting its excellent environmental performance and sustainable operations by presenting its interactive online experience "UPM Forest Life" to the Asian exhibition visitors. UPM launched the www.upmforestlife.com website in Chinese on World Environment Day in June 2009. At the same time UPM continued the international Plant a Tree Day events by donating 10,000 trees to the China Green Foundation for the reforestation of areas adjacent to the Great Wall in Jinshanling, outside Beijing.
UPM initially launched this creative website in 2007. Since then it has received a great deal of recognition and several international awards for its unique content and technology. The Chinese version makes the virtual walk in the Finnish forest accessible to new audiences in Asia.
