Tesa expands Lift & Reseal family

Tesa has added ‘Fresh’ to its family of Lift & Reseal range, which has been designed for short shelf-life products.

Tesa said its Lift & Reseal high-tech tape range for the reclosure of flexible packaging has gone global since its launch in 2013, with major retailers and brand owners around the world specifying the system for use on different products and pack sizes.

Tesa’s Lift & Reseal range is designed to effectively reclose packs more than 20 times, allowing consumers to reseal film based food packs for the product’s lifetime. Lift & Reseal remains adhesive faced as packs reduce in size and remains usable even if the adhesive face becomes dusty.

Lift & Reseal products unwind from spools, controlled by a brake and buffer system, to provide maximum speed and efficiency. The dispensers are provided free of charge as part of the ‘tesacohesion’ customer care package, which includes an end-to-end installation and commissioning service that ensures dispensers are installed within a day, without reducing packaging line speed.

Tesa Lift & Reseal ‘Fresh’ will be showcased on the Tesa stand at Packaging Innovations London later this month, alongside the in-line dispenser which delivers the spool wound tape directly to pack.

Tesa is also now developing reclosure options for manufacturers and retailers in the UK, Europe, Russia and Japan.
