Tapp Label acquires Metro Label
Tapp Label Acquisition Company (Tapp Label) has purchased Metro Label. This is the fourth acquisition in less than a year for Tapp Label.
The deal brings additional capabilities, a number of Fortune 500 customers, and provides an active East Coast location for the converting company based on the West Coast. Metro Label was founded in Toronto, Canada in 1974 and has received numerous awards for its environmental leadership in the label industry.
Said David Bowyer, CEO and owner of Tapp Label, ‘Metro Label’s associates will benefit from the strength of Tapp Label’s structure and focused investments, and our customers will benefit from the expanded capabilities and geography.’
Metro Label will continue to use its name for Toronto based customers, but will use Tapp Label for West Coast customers. Tapp Label now operates in seven facilities across the US and employs over 300 people.
