Rotometal launches proprietary ANTIFRICTION printing cylinders helping print businesses improve efficiency and productivity

Rotometal’s brand new ANTIFRICTION printing cylinders use a breakthrough solution that optimize the friction properties and the smoothness of the cylinder coating. This is thanks to the use of the Polimeroxid® matrix, which is cross-linked throughout its thickness with a special LF4 polymer.

The use of this innovative method in the production of printing tools allows Rotometal to obtain exceptional surface smoothness while maintaining a high hardness.

This pioneering solution enables Rotometal to manufacture these tools with unprecedented functional properties, which, by combining high durability and optimal adhesion set them apart on the market.

Thanks to the ANTIFRICTION coating, the replacement of the foam tape securing the polymer plates is trouble-free and takes much less time.
