PRINTECH, new agent of OMET for the middle east region
Printech Middle East LLC, based in Dubai, is the new reputed agent for OMET for the territory of Middle East.
Printech Middle East is a complete solutions provider for the Printing and Packaging industry in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. Having a long experience in the field, Printech provides consulting and technical solutions to printers in terms of equipment, components and consumables always with the objective to enhance the customers’ throughput.
The fact of being based in the Middle East region marks a considerable competitive advantage since the regional market is expected to grow very rapidly for the next 10 to15 years. As a strategic move Printech opened two regional offices in Saudi Arabia which, along with the headquarters in Dubai, act as central hubs for the whole region. Main trends in the MENA market show a growing interest in labels, now focusing on high quality labels with an increasing level of complexity, and including finishing like foil, screen, and gravure and so on. The market sector which counts for the greatest increase is the food & beverage where the per capita consumption is expanding above 10% year on year and whose demand of packaging is expected to rise accordingly. Consequently, the food & beverage label market is where Printech is mostly concentrating its marketing efforts.
Label converters and packaging producers look mostly for reliable, high quality products of renowned companies having a local representation, for prompt service response to any possible breakdown or performance issue of products supplied to them. Therefore, Printech offers a package of turnkey solution including machines, components, consumables and technical consultancy. As a consultant, Printech works side by side with the customers to enhance productivity, profitability and offer after-sales service that focuses on customer enjoyment. With the recent acquisition of OMET as a machine supplier, Printech counts now on a complete product portfolio dedicated to the Label Industry in the region including OMET presses, finishing machines by Prati, Apex anilox rolls and sleeves, AV Flexologic plate mounting machines, BST 100% inspection systems, API foils, and the doctor blades by Swedev.
Printech’s objective is to make of OMET one of the top three players in the Middle East region by training technical teams to provide prompt after sales service to existing customers and install at least one machine in each country in the Middle East in the next two years. Printech is fully engaged in the development of business in the region with the support of OMET's technology; most recent installations include two main players in the area: Future Pack, having two XFlex X6, and the upcoming installation at Al Maha in Oman.
So informs Jay Chawda, Technical Director of Printech Middle East: “We are very enthusiastic about our partnership with OMET and look forward to a long term mutual success!”
