Nilpeter’s Smart Inline Box Solution a Success at GOA 2014
Nilpeter’s FB-3300S smart inline box solution was a great success at Graphics of the Americas 2014 (GOA), on February 27 – March 1 in Miami, FL. GOA offers a unique platform for reaching important American markets; something the global press manufacturer took full advantage of.
Nilpeter demonstrated the FB-3300S smart inline box solution, providing Roll-to-Finished-Product in one working process – with front-side printing, substrate turning, reverse-side printing, curing, and die-cutting. Conventional sheet-fed printers, visiting the show, showed immense interest in the prospect of eliminating numerous time-consuming processes, yet obtaining the same result.
”It has become clear to us, that many converters within conventional printing consider GOA a platform for seeking new and more effective printing methods”, says Nilpeter’s Global Sales Manager Jesper Joergensen.
At the show, the FB-3300S produced 220 g carton boxes with four process colours and two spot colours, all flexo. However, the high quality had printers making inquiries to which of the spot colours was flexo – finding the printed samples of offset quality.
”It was very inspiring to meet so many North and South American converters seeking new business opportunities. We gained new insight into the challenges, these printers meet on a daily basis, and the knowledge sharing that took place bodes well for the future”, Jesper Joergensen concludes.
