New HP Indigo digital presses at St-Luc Labels & Packaging
St-Luc Labels & Packaging from Nazareth (BEL) has taken an additional HP Indigo 20000 Digital press into service. With two digital presses for packaging solutions on large formats, this SME is an absolute pioneer. St-Luc is the first printing company in the Benelux that has two HP Indigo 20000 Digital presses to quickly deliver digital printed foil, adding the possibility to print short runs and even personalize them.
St-Luc Labels & Packaging has been active in the field of packaging for over 20 years. The company has three locations and produces self-adhesive labels, booklet-labels, foldable boxes, shrinksleeves and foil packaging. Jerome and Niko Dhondt, CEO and managing director: “We have always invested in new technologies and we will continue to do so. Our customers face the challenge to attract consumers’ attention and reinforce their brand image by implementing creative concepts. More than ever we are a partner offering them innovative solutions thanks to the HP Indigo 20000 Digital presses, completed with our other machines.”
Meeting millennials’ expectations
In the world of packaging it’s all about seducing customers but today brands also need to meet the expectations of a new generation. Vivian Cohen, brands & creatives manager at HP Indigo: “Packaging is the only medium that consumers cannot avoid. And it’s the last opportunity for brands to persuade consumers to buy their product. Thus it offers an excellent opportunity for brands to communicate.”
“Moreover, thanks to the new HP Indigo Digital presses, you can tap into innovative possibilities. Just think of unique designs that make every package different. Or personalized packaging tailored to each individual consumer. As a brand you can build a strong bond with your customers, strengthen your brand awareness and respond optimally to the generation of millennials who like to communicate via social media”, Vivan Cohen says.
Print quickly and efficiently
With its latest investment, St-Luc Labels & Packaging also responds to the need of many companies to have access to packaging quickly and efficiently. Niko Dhondt: “If necessary, we can deliver in 24 hours. We also want to service our customers if packaging is needed for the start-up of a new production or for a small repeated order. By offering digital packaging printing we can print, laminate, cut and deliver packaging within 10 days. With conventional printing that flexibility is much more expensive or not even feasible.”
