AWA forecast that the volume will grow by 3.6% CAGR from 2022-2025. The volume and growth in pressure-sensitive adhesive is driven principally by end user market growth in the main markets of tapes, labelstock, hygiene, graphic films and medical.

Asia accounts for the large proportion of volume when analyzing pressure-sensitive adhesives regionally with 47% of the market, followed by North America with 23%. Europe had lost some of its market share, now accounting for 22% of the global pressure-sensitive adhesive market. South America and Africa and Middle East account for 4% and 3% respectively.

All regions have yet to reach pre-pandemic levels of growth. Despite this, Asia continues to lead global growth at 5.9% CAGR. All other regions are expected to grow at a CAGR between 2.0% and 3.0% between 2022-2025.
