FINAT are deeply saddened by the news that at the age of 54 Taco Zevenbergen has passed away after a long battle that he could not win.
Taco was a well respected and liked member of the label community, which he first served in 1999 after joining Lejeune Association Management. In his capacity of Executive Secretary he was responsible for the support of several committees and task forces, especially the Marketing Committee and its Congress Programme Subcommittee as well as the Membership Committee and Young Managers Board. Above all, as our association's Meeting Planner he was responsible for the planning and operational execution of numerous successful congresses, events, Labelexpo stands and study tours such as the Euro India Labelling Exchange matchmaking event.
Taco's service and practical mindset, his organizational and planning skills, but above all his kind personality and heart for the organization and its people he served will be greatly missed.
We wish his partner Jaap, family, friends and colleagues at the secretariat all the strength to cope with this sad loss.
