Mark Andy will be exhibiting a range of products in Chicago to support its ‘Total Solutions Partner’ message.

Leading the way is the Performance Series flexo press platform, which now has more than 600 installations worldwide. New for the Chicago show are more ergonomic control stations and lowered converting modules to make operation easier. Fully automated job register, both lateral and circumferential is now available without operator intervention, and advanced job save and recall automates repeat work set up.

The Performance Series P7 model on the stand will be fitted with the latest generation Mark Andy ProLED UV curing system that increases irradiance by 25% from 16kW to 20kW/sq.cm. Print demos during Labelexpo will include expanded colour gamut jobs using low migration UV LED inks, and will feature innovative inline solventless lamination suitable for food product applications. Deliveries of the new model P5 and P7 models will begin in early 2017.

Mark Andy will also launch ‘Digital One’, and entry-level digital and converting label press designed to print short-run prime labels with inline converting at a modest investment level. The compact Digital One offers CMYK at 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution with a single flexo station for inline converting. This frees up capacity on high flexo production presses, and brings greater efficiency to short run, fast turnaround work.
