LINTEC INVITES VISITORS TO EXPLORE ITS CUSTOMER-LED INNOVATIONS AT LABELEXPO EUROPE 2019
LINTEC EUROPE is presenting its vast array of specialist adhesive materials for the labelling industry at Labelexpo Europe (24th – 27th September 2019, Brussels Expo), demonstrating the company’s commitment to provide solutions tailored to specific customer requirements. With dedicated areas for security, healthcare, industrial and speciality, the Lintec stand will give visitors the opportunity to have a close-up look at the latest products as well as watch live demonstrations of how they can be used.
Soichiro Fujinaga, Technical Manager at Lintec Europe, explains the company’s approach to customer-led innovation: “Lintec has always been a customer-oriented business. By integrating customer insight and feedback in the R&D stage of the product development cycle, we are able to enhance our offering further and introduce innovations that are in line with what customers and the market need at any given time.”
Labelexpo Europe will also provide LINTEC with an international platform to launch its new flagship brand, Livasta, for its core labelstock products. The name incorporates elements from the words LINTEC, Value, Stick and Advance, encapsulating LINTEC’s strong brand value.
In its ‘industrial’ section, LINTEC is presenting its extreme high temperature labelstock featuring extreme durability and excellent resolution transfer printability. The labelstock is able to withstand temperatures of up to 1250°C, as well as harsh outdoor environments and chemical exposure. The labelstock features topcoating and material properties that enable barcode identification and variable data to be added to the labelled product via manual or automatic application. This improves automatic tracking and management of materials throughout the supply chain, reducing the risk of human error while increasing efficiency and safety.
In the area dedicated to ‘security’, visitors are able to see LINTEC’s new custom message tape and labels, which feature tamper-indicating properties that instantly reveal a non-reversible customisable message if the label is removed from the package of a product.
Also being showcased in the ‘security’ section of the stand is Securafol, a non-PVC destructible labelstock designed to counter product tampering, warranty fraud and asset theft. Securafol can be utilised for multiple applications, such as asset labels, security seals, product warranty labels and pharmaceutical box seal labels and is designed to maximise brand and product protection. The product has been shortlisted for a Labelexpo Label Industry Global Award, with the winners set to be announced on 24th September.
In the ‘speciality’ section, LINTEC is demonstrating its FX range of labelstock featuring exceptional conformability, enabling 100% adhesive contact to textured, irregular and compound curved surfaces. The range is a versatile solution that can be used for flexible package labels or for the application of graphics to cars, bicycles and sporting goods. The labelstock’s minimal film memory reduces the risk of label delamination on uneven surfaces, making it perfect for applications where detail and precision are paramount.
Andy Voss, Managing Director of LINTEC EUROPE comments: “We are continuously investing in ongoing research and development in order to grow and retain our expansive customer base and we are delighted to be exhibiting at Labelexpo once again, demonstrating our position as one of the leading players within the label market. We welcome all visitors to discover or rediscover our solutions and how they have been designed to suit the specific needs of our customers across a range of industries.”
