Labelexpo Asia marking OMET’s 10th participation since 2003
Tarsus Group awarded OMET for its non stop participation to Labelexpo Asia since its foundation, and always having a machine on show, this edition the latest born in the XFlex series, XFlex X2
The event this year marked a special interest by the public intervened and many good leads to be explored further. Marco Calcagni, who took part in the event on behalf of OMET stated: “We were pioneers in China at the end of the XX century when we opened an office in Shanghai and we still believe in the potential of the Chinese market for our business. That’s why we keep investing in Asia and we recently built up a new technology center exhibiting OMET machines 365 days a year and available for demos and testing.”
OMET Suzhou Mechanical Co. Ltd, located in Wujiang, was created to better follow such a strategic market, first with the production and sale of motion systems, secondly with the creation of a local sale and service staff to serve the printing and tissue converting markets and offer a punctual pre and post-sale service.
OMET’s expansion plan takes into great account the Chinese (and surrounding countries) markets and the decision to exhibit at Labelexpo is again strategic. OMET is highly committed to the Asian market and is the only machine manufacturer that never ceased to invest in trained personnel, advertising, events, and with its own production plant and sale offices.
The gala dinner of Labelexpo took place in Jumeirah Hotel in Shanghai and saw the participation of around 300 people, customers and suppliers to the industry. During the night, Tarsus, organizer of the events of the Labelexpo series, awarded OMET for its loyalty to the show since 2003 remarking the leading position the Italian company firmly holds in the narrow and medium web world market.
The award was particularly appreciated by OMET management as it comes in the year of OMET’s 50th anniversary and is another confirmation of the company’s great lifetime achievements.
