At Labelexpo Americas sighted larger width of Xflex X6

A 530 mm / 20’’ XFlex X6 will be demonstrated during the Chicago exhibition. In a period rich of innovations for the Italian company, the debut of XFlex X6 in medium range is another step into the future.

OMET is the only company in narrow web industry who has been capable of offering to the label and packaging market a full bunch of innovative products and solutions in a handful of months. XFlex X4 and XFlex X2 were presented at Labelexpo Europe at the end of 2011 and have performed well in sale since then. A new digital inkjet (JetPlus) unit made its debut at drupa last May rising customers’ attention and already capturing customers’ interest. The Offset unit equipped with sleeves was introduced at Labelexpo Europe, reproposed during drupa, and currently under production.

Labelexpo Chicago will stage the launch of the first XFlex X6 all-in-one-pass multi-process press in 530 mm width (20’’). The need to go larger with the most famous among OMET presses was a need felt on the market. In fact, such a press can be highly competitive for packaging printers, above all label converters, needing to increase their plant productivity without affecting general costs.
