Booth #5413 Highlights Include Game-Changing Konica Minolta bizhubT PRESS C71cf and the US Premier of MGI JETvarnish 3DW
Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc., ( Konica Minolta) introduces an expanded digital portfolio of solutions for the label and packaging industry, unveiling the suite of products during its participation at Labelexpo Americas.
Konica Minolta will showcase a complete end-to-end solution suite from label pre-press, digital label printing, digital embellishments, and digital die cutting and finishing at the event, which will take place from September 13-15 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
Among a few of the featured highlights are the following:
- bizhub PRESS C71cf: The bizhub PRESS C71cf is a high production digital label press with output capacity during a standard production shift of 30,000 linear feet. Leveraging proven Konica Minolta's HDe dry toner technology, this press provides1200x1200 dpi resolution with push button ease. The bizhub PRESS C71cf is the perfect fit for businesses looking at a low-risk first entry into digital label production, or as an efficient short-run solution to an existing digital print operation.
- MGI JETVarnish 3DW: This new system, making its American debut at Labelexpo, adds valuable shelf impact with colorful, eye-catching tactile effects that improve brand identification and consumer appeal. The JETvarnish 3DW delivers 2D-spot and 3D-embossed varnish textures, hot-foil stamping and variable data ability in a 100 percent digital environment. This new MGI digital system also provides rapid prototyping, short-run customization and production-strength power. The full JETvarnish 3DW and iFOIL W solution also includes a flexo priming station for substrate surface management.
- EngageIT iLabel: is a powerful software application designed for the bizhub PRESS C71cf. It maximizes label production by simplifying the layout and printing of graphic designs, without requiring operators to be an expert in design or packaging prepress. iLabel allows labels which were created in any application to be precisely imposed for high quality label production. It allows precise control of margins and spacing between labels, and also prints eye marks to aid in off-line finishing operations like die cutting.
- Spartanics LSR-350 Laser and Semi-Rotary Label Finishing System: This recently introduced machine features a modular design, making it easy to add options on the initial configuration or in the future. Spartanics offers a customized cutting solution that includes laser and semi-rotary die cutting (up to 50m/min), UV coating, hot stamping, lamination, corona treatment, sheeting, dual rewinds and knife slitting. Laser-die cutting in either 200W or 400W versions are possible for clients requiring ultra-fast turnarounds even for complex label shapes.
"As one of the market leaders in the print space, Konica Minolta is defining what true disruptive technology is by providing a way to make digital better than it has ever been done before," said
