Kocher+Beck establishes worldwide partnership with INSECO in the sleeve segment

Kocher+Beck GmbH + Co. Rotationsstanztechnik KG, with headquarters in Pliezhausen, and INSECO Metalltechnik GmbH & Co. KG from Ahaus have signed an agreement for a global partnership for INSECO’s aluminum sleeves for the offset and flexographic printing sector in the label (narrow web) and packaging industry (wide web).

As a systems supplier for high-quality magnetic die cutting technology (flexible dies and magnetic cylinders), non-stop splicers, silk screen printing technology and specialty tooling for the converting sector, Kocher+Beck is a global key partner for label, envelope and offset customers.

"Because of our multi-layered OEM business relationships, our global reach and our high quality standards, INSECO is the ideal addition to our product portfolio. They are the market leader in quality for the premium sleeve sector," explains Lars Beck (Managing Director, Kocher+Beck).

With 540 employees, 5 locations throughout the world, and around 30 representatives abroad, the Kocher+Beck Group is present in more than 80 countries.

INSECO has plenty of expertise in manufacturing rollers for almost every industrial sector. In a production facility of 5,500 sqm in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany), INSECO produces rollers and cylinders for the printing industry, as well as precision cylinders for the converting industry of up to 1,200 mm diameter and with a total length of 6,000 mm.

INSECO is the only manufacturer of sleeve cylinders with a 100% vertical integration from GRP inner sleeves to aluminum bodies. The integration guarantees the shortest delivery times in the industry.

"Minimum set-up times, high quality results under extreme pressure, and maximum service life all speak for our aluminum sleeves," adds Christian Schnieders (INSECO sleeve division board member).

Christian Schnieders and his team have more than 30 years of experience in production, construction and development of sleeves. From the very beginning, they were involved in the development and construction of VSOP offset blanket and plate sleeve cylinders manufacturing. Therefore they approach the complex area of 'offset sleeves' with solid knowledge and solutions for their customers.

The goals of the partnership are to bundle product knowledge and help our customers worldwide to achieve consistently high printing results.
