HP to Demonstrate Broad Application Possibilities of Latest Large Format Printers at Viscom Italia

BARCELONA, Spain, 04 September 2012 - HP today announced that it will exhibit a diverse showcase of flatbed and roll-to-roll large-format printers designed to expand the sign and display applications offered by print service providers, at Viscom Italia, Milan, 4th - 16th October, Hall 1, Stand K29.

Highlighting the continued importance of HP Latex Ink Technologies and the business-enhancing opportunities it offers users, HP will display some of the vibrant, wide-ranging applications achievable, while presenting live product demonstrations on key HP Latex devices, including the HP Designjet L26500 Printer and the award-winning HP Designjet L28500 Printer.

Wider applications versatility(1)
Both printers run water-based HP Latex Inks that produce odourless(2) prints, enabling users to offer an extended range of creative indoor and outdoor applications using a variety of substrates, including vinyl, fabrics, paper, film and low-cost uncoated options, while meeting the needs of environmentally-conscious customers. These applications span a multitude of jobs, including POS/POP graphics and posters, light boxes, soft signage, wall coverings, vehicle graphics and event banners.

(1) The HP Designjet L28500 Printer produces an extremely broad range of both outdoor and indoor applications at speeds up to 70% faster than the HP Designjet L26500 and L25500 from a single device, which surpasses the number of different applications that traditional eco-solvent printers or water-based printers can produce.
