Hanita to show sophisticated portfolio of facestock at LabelExpo Europe 2011

At this year's LabelExpo in Brussels, label facestock manufacturers Hanita Coatings (booth 6H122) will be introducing a variety of specialty labelface films, including novel water indicative and tamper indicative products; high security films; overlaminate films with scratch resistant and anti-graffiti properties, and a range of new films for digital print.

Hanita's new water indicative PET labelface films reveal a clear color change from blue to white on immersion or dampening, without reacting to ambient humidity. These facefilms provide an excellent solution for warranty validity labels used in electronic equipment such as mobile phones.

Tamper indicative labels serve not only in the electronics market, but also the field of pharmaceutical labeling, and Hanita has recently added to its massive portfolio of tamper evident facefilms both black and white fine-print "minivoid" message options. Tamper evident features also play a role in Hanita's latest security film developments, which combine covert taggants and overt brand identification.
Hanita will be showing several new overlaminate films, including a 23 micron UV stabilized clear Polyester film with a proprietary dry-erase coating that retains gloss, clarity and dimensional stability also in harsh external environments. The film provides a wipe clean surface suitable for "liquid chalk" or standard Expo® type dry erasable markers.
