Gallus ECS 340 impresses specialist audience
Graphispag Barcelona was celebrating its 45th anniversary as the key international fair of Spain's graphic arts industry. Gallus ECS 340 presses are already in operation at a number of well-known customer sites in Spain, and always achieve good results. But the Gallus ECS 340 provided further evidence of its abilities during live demonstrations at the week-long Graphispag – and proved a real hit with visitors.
The Gallus ECS 340 at the trade fair stand of Lapeyra & Taltavull
Due to the impressive performance of the granite-based Gallus ECS 340, Gallus, Lapeyra and the Antoni Algueró Graphic Arts School (

) signed an agreement giving the school access to the Gallus ECS 340 after the fair. Students at the graphic arts school can now study the handling and functionality of one of the most advanced label presses in the school's in-house facilities. Any other interested parties are also warmly invited to visit the training centre to get a closer look at the Gallus ECS 340. Gallus ECS 340 ushers in a new era in the manufacture of commodity labels At Labelexpo Europe 2009, the Gallus Group ushered in a new era for the cost-effective manufacture of commodity product decoration solutions with the market launch of the Gallus ECS 340. During Graphispag 2011, the press on display at the stand of Lapeyra & Taltavull showed that printing has never been so straightforward, efficient and user-friendly and that costs per label have never been so low – all for an investment that won’t break the bank. Gallus ECS 340 based on a solid granite core State-of-the-art technologies and construction materials that are new to the label industry have led to the creation of a highly productive and innovative machine concept with a spellbinding design. When developing the press, Gallus focussed on the essential features, honing the configuration to maximise print quality while minimising costs. Everything on the Gallus ECS 340 is designed to help label printers save money without compromising on print quality. The machine’s extremely short web path of just 1.1 m between printing units cuts waste significantly. Thanks to its granite core, the press has a particularly long service life and is quieter than any other machine in this class. The UV drying generates no exhaust air and is therefore easy on the ear and on the environment. What’s more, selfexplanatory operation with touchscreen technology delivers even quicker results. The Gallus ECS 340 is proof that less can indeed be more.
