Glytech Labels International move
Glytech Labels has developed a patented Adhesive Pattern Technology which is a novel and sustainable label manufacturing process, using pressure sensitive adhesives. The innovative adhesive pattern and transfer plate technology can dramatically cut process and material waste by 60-70% depending on specifications.
As companies consider the implications of the new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, Glytech is well-positioned to capitalise on reducing packaging waste. The unique product offering matches customer specifications with calculated material usage and the reduction or elimination of liner.
Garry Saul, founder of Glytech Labels, has many years of experience running a successful label converting business and has worked with major brands such as Botox and Gaviscon both at national and international levels as former Managing Director of Kenilworth Products.
Glytech is currently at the development stage of an innovative pharmaceutical packaging product with a European customer. Also, the company is in discussion with several international partners to license the technology. Although, based in Dublin the flexible system can be easily transferred to satellite hubs globally.
The Technology is extremely flexible and can provide advantages for sustainability optimisation and other benefits such as flexible batch sizes, secondary labelling, and late-stage customisation. The innovative process provides customers with opportunities to take a sustainable approach to their labelling activities and reduce their material usage and waste.
