Florian Hölzle receives 2016 TOP Student Award
Flint Group Flexographic Products employee honoured for outstanding achievements in his studies
Within ProFlex 2016, DFTA honoured the best students and apprentices of the flexo and packaging industry of Germany. This award recognises graduates and apprentices with outstanding achievements. Yvonne Lechner and Florian Hölzle, who wrote their bachelor theses at Flint Group Flexographic Products, won this award.
Florian Hölzle completed his studies in Printing and Media Technology at the Stuttgart Media University (HdM) after his training as a flexo print worker with further education as a media business administrator. With this academic background, he specialised in machinery and process-based themes of the printing technology. During his studies he worked at Flint Group where he wrote his bachelor thesis “Optimal parameters for the print of a nyloflex® NExT flexo printing plate in the flexible packaging”.
In 2012, Yvonne Locher received the German scholarship from Flint Group for her German-Chinese double degree program for Printing and Media Technology at the HdM. Afterwards, she completed a practical term at Flint Group Flexographic Products in Shanghai. This award, obtained for her bachelor thesis “Opportunities and limitations of alternative concepts for the rendition of flat top dot and surface grids,” represents another key milestone in her professional life.
Both bachelor theses were directed by Anke Frieser-Tausch, Senior Manager Application Technology at Flint Group Flexographic Products. She is proud of the success of her interns, “not only the work of our graduates is honoured with this award, but also our high scientific level is recognised”.
