Explore New Opportunity with Flint Group at TAPPI CorrExpo – Stand 536
Flint Group exhibits at TAPPI’s corrugated conference, CorrExpo 2015, October 19-22, 2015 in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. The conference features over 140 exhibitors with an exhibit floor that is sold out. Flint Group’s Flexographic Products and Paper & Board ink experts will be available at stand 536 during exhibition hours to discuss new products and answer questions.
Flint Group Flexographic Products will exhibit its extensive portfolio of printing consumables, including nyloflex® photopolymer printing plates and processing equipment, and dayCorr® die-cutting blankets and anvil covers.
dayCorr®, a new design of die-cutting blankets, incorporates a perforated steel backing to enhance its overall performance. The special design of the backing provides additional benefits to corrugators during installation, use and storage. It provides a more uniform fit with better grip to metal cylinders and a more even die-cutting surface due to tighter gauge tolerances. The foundation of the new development is based on the special structure and surface characteristic of the perforated steel, which imparts a tougher and more durable nature to the blanket, thus extending the overall life.
Flint Group Flexographic Products will also feature the nyloflex® FRC printing plate, which exhibits superior resistance to chipping during plate washout ¬- a common issue among many corrugated plates, especially thick plates with deep relief requirements. The new plate is based on an optimised formulation for faster exposure and processing time to improve productivity as compared with many traditional printing plates. The unique composition of the plate results in increased durability during processing, making it less likely to chip and offers superior print quality on all types of corrugated boards. Providing excellent ink transfer and outstanding solid area coverage with minimal dot gain, the nyloflex® FRC plate is ideal for all corrugated print applications ranging from challenging graphics and multi-colour designs to simple line work.
Flint Group Paper & Board Division is eager to share its new series of inks with CorrExpo attendees, including PremoNova® and PremoCorr™, part of its Corrugated Post Print Toolbox.
John Gaber, Product Director, Packaging Inks North America says, "Flint Group is very excited to be involved in the 2015 CorrExpo event. The brochure for this year’s event starts out with an excellent tag line, ‘Leading the race into the future’ - this is exactly where we believe we have positioned ourselves and the products within the Paper & Board Division.”
Mr. Gaber continues, “Through a focused collaboration with leading raw material suppliers and print machine manufacturers, Flint Group has developed a full range of post print corrugated inks with an extremely large operating window and outstanding transfer. The result is a series of inks, PremoNova® & PremoCorr™, that will substantially reduce and/or eliminate the need for skip feeding, reduce board crush, improve print fidelity, and enable the converter to reduce variable costs through waste reduction and increased throughput.”
Mr. Gaber concludes, “The PremoNova® umbrella of products doesn't just tick the boxes for improved throughput and efficiencies, it also provides peace of mind from a regulatory standpoint (Swiss Ordinance 817.023.21 & REACH complaint). Please visit us at CorrExpo and see how Flint Group is leading the corrugated industry in this race to the future!”
