Today at Labelexpo (September 12, 2023) – Esko and Fiery, LLC announced a new technology partnership to develop innovative solutions that advance digital print technologies and packaging workflows. The companies will collaborate on workflow integrations to more rapidly develop new solutions to help brands and their print suppliers in the digital print and packaging industries.
The companies unveiled seamless integration between Fiery Impress, the turnkey DFE for industrial inkjet presses and inline manufacturing lines, and Esko Automation Engine, the next generation prepress workflow automation solution. The integration allows customers to easily migrate their existing workflows for digital print technologies.
“Esko is an ideal partner, sharing our vision for simplifying print workflows through digital technologies,” said Maria Brilaki , Senior Director Product Management at Fiery. “By joining forces, we can bring to market integrated packaging workflow solutions that optimize the design to production to finishing process and help our customers achieve more precise color reproduction, higher digital press efficiency, and sustainability.”
Geert De Proost, Esko Director of Product Software Management, said: “Esko holds a strong market position in prepress digitization, automation, and connectivity, with a wide portfolio of solutions that accelerate the go to market process of packaged goods. Our customers need innovative, integrated technology to get to market faster and fulfil their design intent. From the start, there has always been seamless integration between the Esko DFE and Automation Engine. As Fiery Impress is driving a number of digital presses used by our global customers, it was the logical decision to integrate both products and offer a complete end-to-end workflow solution for digital print,”
Esko and Fiery plan to expand this partnership in the future, creating integrated solutions to further support customers’ adoption of digital print technologies.
