DuPont Packaging Graphics Features Cyrel® Performance Series Digital Plates at Proflex
New Plates Deliver Enhanced Quality Performance, Minimize Investment
NEU-ISENBURG, Germany, August 29, 2012 - DuPont Packaging Graphics is inviting visitors attending the 66th DFTA symposium and trade show Proflex in Stuttgart, Germany from September 11 – 12, to visit stand 47 & 48, where DuPont will showcase the latest innovations in flexographic printing plates: the new Performance Series digital plates, DuPont™ Cyrel® DSP and Cyrel® DFP.
DuPont™ Cyrel® DSP and Cyrel® DFP are formulated specifically for highest solid ink density combined with excellent dot gain characteristics. The DuPont™ Cyrel® solvent-process DSP and DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST DFP are standard workflow digital plates, and are fully functional with all standard LAMS-based platesetters.
The new Performance Series of digital plates represent the next generation of flexographic plate incorporating a special engineered surface which enable printers to meet the higher solid ink requirements of brand owners using a standard digital workflow. These new plates do not require expensive investments in digital prepress and digital technology. “These new Performance Series plates will provide our flexible packaging customers superior on-press performance: the highest solid ink density, with smooth solids, less graininess and minimized pin holing, combined with excellent minimum dot size and dot gain” says Bernd Daiber, EMEA Business Leader, DuPont Packaging Graphics.
The Cyrel® Performance Series plates (DSP &DFP) will be fully commercial in the first quarter.
