Featuring Newest Innovations in Flexographic Printing and Anti-Counterfeiting Technology
DuPont Packaging Graphics and DuPont Authentication are inviting visitors attending Labelexpo in Brussels, Sept. 24 - 27, 2013, to visit their stand in Hall 11, Booth Q25.
DuPont Packaging Graphics will showcase the latest innovations in flexographic printing plates: the new DuPont™ Cyrel® Performance Plates DFP and DSP. These plates are formulated specifically for highest solid ink density combined with excellent dot gain characteristics. The DuPont™ Cyrel® solvent-process DSP and the thermal process DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST DFP are standard workflow digital plates, and are fully functional with all standard LAMS-based platesetters. The new Performance Plates represent the next generation of flexographic plate technology, incorporating a special engineered surface which enable printers to meet the higher solid ink requirements of brand owners using a standard digital workflow. These new plates do not require additional expensive investments in digital prepress, laminating or alternative exposure technologies.

Under the theme “higher quality at high speed” DuPont will also showcase the modified UV Main Exposure DuPont™ Cyrel® DigiFlow flexographic system. Cyrel® DigiFlow enables flexographers to maintain an exact 1:1 reproduction of image elements on the plate for improved solid ink density. This unit is designed to be used on an as needed basis when a hybrid flat top dot is required. It also optimizes the benefits associated with solid screening programs such as Esko HD Flexo Microcell.
