Doubling sales in South Africa

Another score in South Africa with the support of Presstec. The machine is a XFlex X2 for customer Label Link of Cape Town.

Label Link order is the result of the appreciation of the customer of the ability of OMET/Hendricks to understand its peculiar requirements. The way in which the negotiation was conducted showed the elevated professionalism and specialisation of the supplier and its agent. Especially the ethical conduct of both during this delicate phase scored a point in favour of OMET.

Label Link is a wholesale label printer who prioritizes flexibility and rapidity of delivery to label distributors. The reasons behind the choice of OMET XFlex X2 were linked to the solidity of the press and to its intrinsic print quality and accuracy. In addition, XFlex X2 has been designed to allow the operator to work easily and instinctively on any size job. Traditional equipment, like printing cylinders, are paired with the most important innovations in OMET’s history offered at a very affordable rate: extremely short web path, cross printing registration adjustments, quick ink change system, and chilled drums as a standard, which may allow a future change of direction of the South African companies towards film printing.
OMET XFlex X2 will enable Label Link to supply both the label and the unsupported film markets, thus expanding the range of products their distributors can offer, in turn, to their end users. The customer, located in Cape Town, has offered to stage demonstrations for other potential customers of OMET in South Africa.
