Converflex 2013 in the year of OMET 50th Anniversary
Hall 3 booth H21-K22
OMET couldn’t miss the appointment with Converflex 2013 in Milan, the show dedicated to converting, package printing, labelling and the tissue industry. Arrived this year at its 10th edition, Converflex is staged contemporarily with Graphitalia and Graphic Arts; in 2009 it hosted 258 exhibitors and over 30,000 international visitors.
Protagonist of OMET booth at Converflex will be the history of OMET, from foundation back in 1963 to today’s success as a leading company in the narrow and mid-web printing and tissue converting industries with more than 250 employees and 1000 machines installed worldwide and a turnover for the sole Machines Division of 52 M€ in 2012. The history of OMET starts on a very cold Friday of February, 1963, when machines did not exist yet for real but were all in the head of Angelo Bartesaghi and his first co-operators. Since 1963, the company has come a long way, always in the path of the purest innovation.
If the booth at the fair is a trip into OMET history and technological progress, at the company premises in Lecco visitors will have the chance to ‘touch and feel’ the most recent machines of OMET range and witness surprising demos.
The machines on display in Lecco will be one Varyflex V2, one XFlex X6 equipped with the newly launched offset groups with sleeves and one XFlex X4, combining tradition – the printing cylinder – to the most advanced electronics. The machines for tissue converting were recently re-named as TV503 line – single-lane modular machine for napkins production and TV840 – double-lane converting machine for high production of printed napkins.
Lecco Open House is scheduled from Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 5 pm. A free shuttle service will be available to take customers from Milan to Lecco and back.
OMET personnel on booth will be more than happy to accompany visitors inside the history of OMET and give all the information needed to reach Lecco and enjoy the visit of the company and the demos at best.
