Change in the management of Etiketten Carini

A structural change at the head of the company: At the beginning of June 2019, Thomas Sohm retired from the operative management and assigned his responsibilities to Dr.-Ing. Harald Raak, MBA, who now runs the management together with Edgar Sohm.

From now on, Thomas Sohm will concentrate more on his responsibilities as owner representative, but he will remain in close contact with customers and support the company with his enormous experience in future strategic decisions. His wife, Andrea Sohm, continues to be responsible for some of CARINI's special operations.

Edgar Sohm: "In line with our vision/mission 2025, we are taking this step, first set in March 2018, further in a targeted way. At that time, Thomas had handed over the chairmanship in the management to me, after I had been responsible for the successful development of Etiketten CARINI for many years as Commercial Managing Director."

"I am delighted that Harald Raak has now taken over the responsibility for all production areas as well as parts of the management and support processes as co-managing director. Born in Nuremberg, he studied chemical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe and has been in leading positions for about 25 years. During this time he worked as CEO, board member and managing director of renowned companies, eg. the RWE Group, SULZER AG and KRAL AG. In addition, he worked successfully for 5 years in the management consultancy. His diverse and extensive experience in research and development, new technologies, marketing and sales as well as lean and quality management will give CARINI labels valuable new impulses.
