Cham Paper Group New Manager at Carmignano site
With effect from 1 September 2012, Mr. Marcello Di Giacomo will take over responsibility for the management of the site at Carmignano and will become a member of the Management Team of the Cham Paper Group. Since 1 December 2011, the site has been run by the CEO, Peter Studer, as a temporary measure.
Mr. Marcello Di Giacomo (an Italian national, who was born in 1962) joins the Cham Paper Group from Kimberly-Clark Italy, where he is currently responsible for managing one of the company’s Italian sites. He has a profound knowledge of the paper sector and possesses substantial experience in corporate management that he acquired in various countries in Europe in the context of his previous positions. In those positions, he also gained an in-depth knowledge of Production, Lean Management, Logistics and Strategic Planning. During the next two years, the site at Carmignano will take on the role of the most important production site of the Cham Paper Group and will come to form the backbone of the company’s efficiency-driven production and logistical platform within the eurozone.
