Business combination Stratus Packaging and JPL
On June 1st 2014, Stratus Packaging Group took over the activities of JPL Etiquette and JPL Log, combining them inside a new subsidiary of Stratus Packaging Holding under the name « Stratus Health and beauty ».
This acquisition should allow Stratus Packaging to continue its expansion in the field of self-adhesive labels and to proceed in the specialisation of its sites to supply its customers with the goods and services they need.
JPL's extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic fields will duly complement Stratus Packaging's know-how.
Stratus Packaging, one of France's leaders for offset digital labels can thus supplement its digital offer with the ink jet equipments available at JPL. The combined flexo/silkscreen printing will be added to Stratus Packaging's offering. New services, such as 100% control will be available for all the group's customers.
This should permit a better coverage of all offers for all the clients of both Stratus Packaging and JPLgroups.
The new group will total more than 270 employees on 5 Production sites, covering more than 40 production lines.
• 5 digital presses in 3 sites
• 5 combined flexo-silkscreen presses
• 7 machines capable of printing multi-page labels on 3 sites
• 3 machines capables of printing booklet labels on 2 sites
Production of IML and sleeves
An R&D team of 4
Stratus wishes to thank its customers for allowing them to confidently conduct these numerous investments.
