Bluestar Silicones are looking for a Global Product Manager for the SILCOLEASE Release Coatings range
Reporting directly to the Global Business Manager, the Product Manager Release Coatings is responsible for the life cycle of the product range in Europe level in close collaboration with the Market Manager EMEA and the US and Asia areas it ensures the coherence of offers with local business teams. At the heart of the strategy of the Business Release Coatings, defines and sets the products according to the 4P. More precisely :
In the area of PRODUCT and it's life cycle :
• Create, optimize, streamline the requirements for new product launches
• Manage the lifecycle of products based on market needs and optimize value creation
• Define the target profitability of end of life products
• Supervise product management in information
In the area of Product PRICING
• Responsible for pricing models of existing products and services and referent in this domain for the sales force
• Standardisation of the offer
• Ensure the follow-up and respect of Price list application via Starway, Customer review, SAP together with Sales, Customer Service & business analyst functions
• Ensure specific Price agreement are being implemented (indexation formula) in coordination with business analyst
In the area of Product PROMOTION
• Maintain the product catalogue updated and accurate at all times in close coordination with business support functions (IT, Business Analyst, Supply Chain)
• Coordinate the edition of product documentation (TDS & other selling tool) in close coordination with business support functions (R&D, TS, Communication) and create web content
In the area of Product PLACEMENT
• Animate and manage GMP (Product Management Market) meetings with Supply Chain, Industrial, TS, Quality & QC and when needed R&D.
• Coordinate with SC on all matters of material forecasts generated by the sales force through SOP or other specific interactions.
• Understand the asset value of internal production within the perimeter of the business(es) served and ensure that allocation is made according to strategic and value based needs. To secure Product delivery as per contract agreement or customer forecasted needs in some cases.
Skills & Experience
M/W – Graduate level - technical or marketing/commercial area. Strong Marketing background with experience (5 yrs) in an operational marketing role in B to B environment. You will have developed a high level of expertise in management and marketing mix life cycle of a technical product.
Fluent English & French speaker.
You have proven experience in project management and good computer skills (knowledge of SAP would be appreciated).
Besides your obvious interpersonal & influencing skills, your natural authority, diplomacy, ability to work with all business functions in a multicultural environment it will be your customer focus, results orientation and creativity that will make you an essential contributor to the future business growth of the Silcolease® release coatings range.
