Autajon (Sinel) orders Domino/ABG hybrid UV inkjet label printing machine
Autajon (Sinel) has ordered at drupa a Domino N610i integrated with an AB Graphics Digicon 3 in the form of a modular hybrid printing system for the production of high quality labels, combining UV flexo and UV inkjet printing.
The hybrid press will be installed at the Sinel plant located in Barcelona, which is part of the international Autajon Group, headquartered in Montelimar, France. This further expands Domino’s UV inkjet capacity at Autajon, with it now being installed at multiple production sites.
One of the key points that contributed to the decision to buy this solution is the efficient optimisation of printed material used, especially during job change-overs. This is partly made possible by a unique web buffer before and after the Domino N610i 7-colour digital integration module, enabling the web to be reversed for tool changes, so that the next production run can be run sequentially, with reduced media waste when producing finished labels. This system provides a solution, even for complex applications combining flexo, UV inkjet and the die cutting and related finishing processing. The result is that high quality, often complex labels are produced and dispatched, wound on small rolls, in just a single highly efficient operation.
This latest order re-affirms Autajon’s commitment to UV ink jet technology and reinforces Autajon’s long term partnership with Domino for digital printing solutions.
