Adhesives in medical devices: A new expert workshop

Adhesives undertake a major role in the field of medical devices. A new, dedicated workshop on this important topic, Adhesive Selection for Medical Devices, -- will be held at the Hyatt Regency Orange County, Garden Grove, California, on 13 February 2014. Offered jointly by Chemsultants International and AWA Conferences & Events, this is a unique event from which all involved in medical device development projects can benefit, whether they are technical, business management, or marketing personnel.

All types of application
Covering a wide range of medical adhesives, from those used in the assembly of electronic components to on-skin applications such as wound care and transdermal drug delivery systems, the workshop is highly focused on the elements of choice involved in such a critical area, and workshop participants will benefit from their own personal copies of a special workshop manual. Choice of suitable substrates materials and adhesive types; testing; planning and performing selection and qualification screening of adhesives; and regulatory considerations will all be covered in an intensive program led by Chemsultants International’s Director of Research and Development, David McCann.
