2024 FINAT Label Competition awards two Spanish label printers

Etiqueta News reports: The 2024 FINAT Label Competition has awarded the labels of two label printers in Spain, IPE lndustria Gráfica and Germark. 

In Group C, within the non-adhesive applications, IPE lndustria Gráflca has won with the label for the cleaning product, Concentralia. This is a digitally printed sleeve in 7 colours, with a full-coverage background. This sleeve represents an innovative packaging method that has two compartments, one for the concentrate and one for the water. The final application consists of die-cutting and removing a window (with a tolerance of +/- 0.5 mm). 

Germark was awarded in Group D, Innovation, for its RFID health wristband. This convenient wristband was developed in response to the need to track any patient in a medical facility from the time they are admitted until their final discharge. The wristband contains two DOG BONE RFID inlays that can be read with 100% reliability. The main benefit of the solution is the administrative efficiency of the processes. It is printed with Domino inkjet technology, in a single colour and in a single pass.
